Website checklist before launch

Your website is ready! But before you hit “Publish” and send the link to friends, hold on a moment. When rushing, small details slip through — and they can ruin the first impression or cost you enquiries.
Here's a practical checklist. Take 15 minutes and go through the steps.
1. Test every form (critical!)
Fill in your enquiry forms, send test enquiries and check:
- do enquiries arrive where they should (email, Telegram or your dashboard)?
- are they landing in spam?
- does the sender see a confirmation like “Thank you, we've received your enquiry!”?
- do clickable phone numbers and email addresses work?
2. View the site on a real phone
Don't trust only the developer tools. Open the site on your own phone and ask a friend with a different brand to do the same.
Make sure the text is readable, images don't shift and the menu opens and closes smoothly.
3. Favicon and tab title
A favicon is the tiny icon on the browser tab. If it's a blank square or a hosting company's logo, it looks sloppy. Use your own logo as the favicon.
The tab text should be right too — not “Home — New project”.
4. Images and speed
Large images are the biggest speed killer. If you uploaded a 5 MB photo straight from the camera, optimise it:
- use TinyPNG or a similar tool;
- convert it to WebP;
- target: the page opens in a couple of seconds.
5. Language versions and placeholder text
Make sure no “Lorem ipsum” is left anywhere. On a multilingual site, check that every button and error message is translated.
6. Google Analytics and Search Console
If you don't measure visits, you're flying blind. Connect the free Google Analytics and Search Console to see where visitors come from and whether Google can see your site.
